What is the difference between rotary airlock valve and rotary feeder?

The gap between rotary vane and housing.
Rotary airlock valve is 0.1~0.3mm.
Rotary feeder is over 0.5mm.

What is the advantage of rotary airlock valve?

Rotary airlock contains smaller gap between the housing and rotary vane. A rotary airlock valve contains precise tolerances to maintain an adequate pressure seal between the rotor vanes and housing in order to ensure a true air seal between the pneumatic conveying line and the hopper.
