ESP of Biomass Plant in Indonesia.
Problem
Their controllers were no longer working. The old controllers were supplied by Chinese Supplier, in which customers rarely got support and proper operation guideline from them since the installation. Therefore, it caused customer to have a hard time experiencing those problems. Also, the display of the controllers manifested the data in Chinese language making it difficult for customer to monitor and control and it cannot provide number of spark.
Solution
With our frequent visit and technical knowledge sharing with customer, customer believed in our expertise and experience as ESP solution provider. As a result, Tai & Chyun was awarded the contract to supply 2 new units of GVC control units and also to provide supervision for the installation. Our engineer helped to check the electrical drawing and assure that our GVC controller can be compatible with their old controller. In particular, this is the first order that we received from biomass plant in Indonesia. Customer was satisfied with our supplied product and service.
Benefit
After the installation, the control units can now operate normally with more stable performance and can now provide reliable operating data. The current charging can mostly reach the maximum value for both units at 396 mA and 399 mA from an optimal value of 400 mA.
With our GVC, it helps solving customer’s problem about spark rate monitoring and it can even improve the effectiveness of controller in responding to spark in order to prevent short circuit.
To add on to that, our GVC features with user friendly interfaces. Therefore it will allow customer to access to all the important operating data of ESP through the VI curve, bar graphs, trend plots, etc., enabling customer to monitor data directly from the screen and allowing customer to detect ESP problems faster.
Moreover, its display can provide data in English making it easier for customer to understand. However, new controller cannot entirely help improve ESP operation if the conditions of mechanical parts inside ESP are not good enough.
