Advantages of Flap Damper vs Dome Valve

Less Maintenance
Flap Damper: The process of damper plate passes through U-ring packing to compress T-ring packing do not produce any friction at all.
Dome Valve: A gap of 0.5~1.2mm is needed to be maintained between the spherical valve and rubber.
Seal Ring: The purpose is to avoid friction. It is because if the dust coating on spherical valve surface, it will lead to seal ring leakage.

Easy Machining
Flap Damper: The machining process of flap damper is simpler. The process only require interface of U-ring packing to be put on damper plate and T-ring packing. Therefore, it does not need to have special machining.
Dome Valve: The machining process is more sophisticated. The process of making spherical valve need to involve precise machining and surface treatment.
